The Solarcan team has been around for awhile! The teams are stable, bound and built around long-time employees who want nothing more than to share their know-how and expertise. Solarcan is part of Atis Group, the largest manufacturer of doors and windows in Canada. This industry leader covers institutional, commercial, builders and retail markets. Within this group, a new employee is trained using the buddy system. Over time, his experience is enhanced through various training organized by division and according to the needs and sectors of activity. The employees are asked to visit various factories in order to visualize and better understand the products.
Solarcan occasionally welcomes interns and a portion of the personnel is designated to receive them. All internships are subject to training to improve the global performance of the company.
Employees who begin work at Solarcan start in entry-level jobs. This provides an occasion for everyone to better understand the foundations of the company and better integrate one’s expertise. When a position becomes available, Solarcan begins by an internal recruitment in order to allow its employees the possibility of advancement.
